March 7, 2014 was a great day for Arizona international educators! We gathered on the campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott for the AIE Annual State Meeting. It was a day of professional development, networking, and teaching and learning about what’s current in the field.
The featured presenter, Heather Singmaster from the Asia Society, shared information about the Mapping the Nation project, a joint effort of the Asia Society, the Longview Foundation, and SAS. The panel presentations and discussions, and the sessions, that followed carried the message of the Meeting program theme, Where in the World are We?
Beautiful campus! Beautiful weather! Great food! Interesting and worthwhile session topics! Fun raffle! (…Andy Fraher “won” the rattle…again…. <;-]…so he’s next year’s rattler!)
The program agenda is posted below so that you can see the presenters and topics that they addressed in their sessions. Watch for more PowerPoint presentations and other resources to be added soon.
